how does the american idol audition process work?
i want to try out for season 11 of american idol in pittsburgh and i was wondering if anyone could explain the audition process to me. things like how long it takes and what not. please dont tell me to visit the american idol website because there is nothing current on there, i just looked.

Be prepared for a week long process. First you sing in front of a handful of producers. If you make it pass them, you sing for executive producers. If you're lucky enough to get pass them, you get to sing for the famous judges. Most likely you wont make it a week, because they don't neccessarily go for talent until the last round with the judges. Good luck and hopefully this helped!
