try washington state
2 :
are you talking building buildings(construction) or construction crews on roadways and parking areas? the roadways would be states that have warm and cold climate...roads go bad quicker due to freeze/thaw.
3 :
Lets see -- there is shovel apprentice -- then there is board nailer apprentice --- machine oil/grease apprentice --- flagman apprentice --- You might have to go to school cause I think all of the illegal aliens are already spoken for those jobs and are currently in training. Why don't you look for plumber or electrician apprentice.(.IBEW union.).. Int Brotherhood of Electrical Workers...
4 :
My Dad used to do construction, Flagger. He worked between Trucking,Arizona winter and Flagger, Nevada summer. Nevada has a saying, "we have two seasons, winter and construction." You might want to search for that in google.

About What is the best place to work with an employee discount that can be applied in planning your wedding

What is the best place to work with an employee discount that can be applied in planning your wedding?
Like.. if you work at a hotel do you get discounts on renting and having an event there? What if you worked on a small cruise ship like the Gateway Clipper Fleet in Pittsburgh? Or a bridal boutique? What job would have the most perks that would make planning a nice wedding cheaperrrr?

what a great question...I dont think you get dscounts at hotel spaces or at caterers, whoch are probably the biggest expenses. So, maybe a flower shop? Tough one. Sound like you need messapy. check out messapy.com, you might get some good free advice there.
2 :
well your dresses will be the most expensive part of the wedding and the most importance you will have pic in them so you will never forget that so i would say a bridal boutique

My sister worked for Marriott as a Hospitality Manager. Her wedding venue was free at any Marriott resort, the guests stayed for free and her honeymoon resort was free if she chose to stay in a Marriott property. She paid for the food, musicians, etc but the venue itself (Sawgrass Marriot in Florida) was free for her and her guests. That was an awesome deal! I have another friend who works at David's Bridal and gets big discounts on dresses but that's only good if you're in a wedding. Another friend worked at a florist for awhile and she paid wholesale for any flowers she purchased, which would also be a good deal. I don't know about anything else like catering or stationary. Good luck!

The most perks would definitely be at the hotel/banquet hall. You could get a cheaper venue. No matter where you go you negotiate the price you pay per person, so if you work there, I'm sure they give you the best services for your money.
5 :
most palces like that dont offer discounts to regular emplyees for weddings. Maybe a discount at a dress shop but a hotel wont give you a discount on food or a hall.
6 :
Getting a job somewhere just to save some money on a wedding might not be a good idea. Think long term. If you don't have much money, then down size the wedding or wait and save some up.
7 :
Well, the biggest expenses are usually catering and photography. Get a job there and that can cut down A LOT of your cost. For instance, my aunt had a catering business that I worked in while I was a teenager. She catered my wedding for cost of food only. A friend from high school went on to become a professional photographer and she gave me a great deal on the photos.

What kind of employment? Knowing that would help someone to answer this question. Are you a professional? A Canadian citizen without a TN visa can apply at a U.S. port of entry with all of the following: Request for admission under TN status to Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, U.S. immigration officer; Employment Letter - Evidence of professional employment. See Employment Letter below; Proof of professional qualifications, such as transcripts of grades, licenses, certificates, degrees, and/or records of previous employment; Proof of ability to meet applicable license requirements; Proof of Canadian citizenship- Canadian citizens may present a passport, as visas are not required, or they may provide secondary evidence, such as a birth certificate. However, Canadian citizens traveling to the United States from outside the Western Hemisphere are required to present a valid passport at the port-of-entry; Fee of U.S. $50 If you don't qualify under NAFTA, then you'd need to be the beneficiary of an approved petition.

Go Steelers. Pittsburgh is a really tough market right now. If you want to get into life insurance sales, you're better off getting your license, and working for an independent agent (straight commission). I lived there for 10 years, I know a bunch of them. Email me for contact info.
